Chief Operating Officer
Jill joined Chrysalis in April 2010 as Chief Operating Officer. She manages the firm’s day-to-day operations, including administration, finance, human resources, IT, legal and marketing. She currently serves on the Board of Asterand.
A CPA and attorney, Jill has an extensive track record running the legal, financial and administrative aspects of venture- and private-equity backed companies, turnarounds, larger organizations and a small consulting firm. Most recently, she was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of Lifecare Hospitals where she directed the company’s legal and PR response to the events of Hurricane Katrina. Previously, she served as CFO of Rehab Designs of America, a venture-owned healthcare company, and was General Counsel of Vencor, Inc. for 10 years where she created and built the legal, human resources, risk management, insurance and compliance functions while the company grew from $50 million to $3 billion in revenue. Jill started her career at Coopers & Lybrand, performing audit and tax work for six years. She also practiced corporate law for four years, focusing on M&A transactions.
Jill has an AB in political science from Miami University, an MSA from Georgetown University and a JD from the University of Louisville.
