VerusMed Holding Company
Becomes ConnectivHealth
New Growth Signals Name
Change for FWI
Nashville, TN - (June 19, 2007) – FWI
Inc., the parent company of VerusMed, today announced it has changed
its name to ConnectivHealth.
The new ConnectivHealth name better positions the
company in the health care market as it embarks on a multimillion-dollar
growth trajectory, which includes several pipeline acquisitions
and a suite of new products all aimed at providing relevant health
care information to physicians, other health care professionals,
and consumers.
"As we prepare for new growth, we need a name that more accurately
represents the unifying nature of our current and future businesses,"
said President and CEO Scott McQuigg. "ConnectivHealth best
describes the connectivity of our products and our business strategy
of integrating multiple health care information offerings."
ConnectivHealth currently serves as the parent company of VerusMed,
which delivers clinical briefs and medical news to physicians and
health care professionals. ConnectivHealth investors include Petra
Capital Partners of Nashville, Chrysalis Ventures of Louisville,
Ky., and Scott McQuigg. In addition to McQuigg, ConnectivHealth's
officers include Bob Kinard, Vice President and CFO, and Paul Mattioli,
Vice President of Sales.
